The patented Vac-X vacuum excavation system was designed, tested and manufactured by G.A.W. The system is unique because of its ability to recycle excavated materials. Controlled amounts of water applied at minimal PSI pressure levels combine to erode the soil and the excavated material is contained on the truck mounted unit. 

The underground utility is safely exposed, the exact location of the utility is recorded, and the previously excavated material is returned as part of the back fill process.

The result is a cost effective and "surgical" style process that prevents damage to the utility while preserving the integrity of the Right of Way.
